ARC Raiders Guide: Finish the Expedition and Get RICH Fast!
The launch of the Expedition in Arc Raiders marks a turning point for progression. Whether you are just starting, nearing the end, or desperately trying to reach the 5 million credits needed to unlock the 5 crucial skill points, this guide is for you.
The Expedition is currently the only path to progression in the game, and we estimate it takes about 150 hours to go from level 0 to max level (75) while securing the necessary 5 million. Here are the most effective strategies to optimize your time and your wallet.
1. Preparing for the "Wipe": What You Keep and What You Lose
The Expedition involves a "wipe" (reset), so it is vital to know what will be kept and what will be lost to plan your departure optimally.

The Expedition Bonuses to Aim For
By completing the Expedition, you earn permanent bonuses for the next iteration:
- Bonus Skill Points: You earn one point per million of the total value of your inventory and currency, up to a maximum of 5 points for 5 million.
- Bonus Reserve Slots: Up to 12 extra slots, which represents about 5% of your total storage.
- Other Bonuses: XP bonuses, extra Shell materials, and extra weapon repairs (which stack if you participate in subsequent Expeditions).
2. Tips for Finishing the Expedition Quickly (Quests)
To complete your quests, tools like Art Tracker or Mapforge can help you locate the items needed for Expedition projects.
Here are a few tips for the most complicated items to find:
| Item | Quick Location Tip |
| Steel Springs | Buy 10 from Celeste over two days. |
| Electrical Components & Batteries | North Stellamontis : Farm this area indefinitely. It's the best place for all electrical components. |
| Cooling Fans | Head to the right tower at the Space Port area. |
| Lightbulbs | Go to "Sous Électrique" (Under Electric). A car located here always has a lightbulb. 20 minutes of farming this spot is enough. |
| Humidifiers | Farm the Red Tower area in Buried City (Ville en fouie), searching the yellow security lockers. |
| General Farming Spot | Assembly Workshop (Atelier de montage) on Stellamontis is the best zone for the rest of the Expedition and generates a lot of money. |
3. The Ultimate Strategy for Getting Rich (Credit Farming)
The goal is to reach 10,000 currency per minute to be able to generate between 300,000 and 350,000 credits per hour.
The Best Maps
Prioritize Stella Montis and Buried City because they are small, loot-dense, and have nearby extraction points.

Two Money Farming Strategies
1. The "Free Loot" Run – Recommended for Efficiency

- Advantages: You invest nothing. You gain about ~6,000 currency just by spawning.
- Method:
- Go without equipment (free loadout).
- If the timer is too short (e.g., 18 minutes instead of 30), capitulate immediately and relaunch.
- Once spawned, rush high-value loot spots (like the Hospital).
- Quickly grab items that stack (watches, small trinkets) and head to the nearest extraction.
- Efficiency: One run can net you 17,500 credits in 1 minute 30 seconds.
2. The Custom Loadout (Light)

- Advantages: More storage space and a weapon for defense.
- Recommended Kit: Loot Module Prudence (Loot 3) for 24 slots and 2 secure pockets. Basic Tier 4 weapon (Iron 4), one stack of heavy ammo, 3 bandages, 3 shields. Total cost: ~10,000 credits.
- Method: The idea is not to engage in PvP, but to maximize collection. Enter an area, pick up everything, dropping grey, then green, then blue stacks if you are full.
- Ideal Spot: The Hospital can yield 31,000 value in 3 minutes 30 seconds.
The Key Tip: Sell Everything!
To avoid wasting time, the golden rule is this: at the end of every efficient run, sell your entire inventory. Don't worry about sorting or keeping items; your goal is to reach 5 million credits as quickly as possible. The less you think, the more efficient you are!
Good luck with your Expedition!
