Scrappy, the faithful rooster by your side in Arc Raiders, is much more than just a companion: he can be upgraded to optimize his ability to collect valuable resources.
From your very first hours of gameplay, you will have the opportunity to start upgrading Scrappy. There are four upgrade levels available, each providing increased effectiveness. In this guide, we explain everything you need to know to strengthen your ally and get the most out of their skills.
The different levels of improvement for Scrappy in Arc Raiders

How to find all Scrappy upgrade items in Arc Raiders
Let's start with level 2, which corresponds to the first upgrade for Coquillard. From this point on, your faithful companion will begin to gain in efficiency and gathering abilities.
Level 2
To reach level 2, you will need to collect the dog collar. Specifically, it can be found in the residential areas of the Dam Battleground map. You can find it on certain pieces of furniture or in trash cans.
⚠️ Warning: these collars may also appear in other locations on the map, but in my experience, I have mainly found them on Dam Battleground.
Level 3
The second upgrade for Scrappy requires Lemons and Apricots. These two resources are mainly found in the swamp area of the Dam Battleground map. They can also be found in the Olive Grove on Blue Gate map.
Level 4
The third upgrade requires prickly pears, olives, and a cat bed.
The Cat Bed can be found in commercial areas, such as the Test Annex, but you can also pick it up at the Rubis Residence (or the Pales Apartments). Both locations are on the Dam Battleg map.
The Olives are located on the Blue Gate map in the Olive Grove.
while prickly pears grow near the cacti. One of the best places is located on the buried city map.
⚠️ Be careful as you explore, because these items are easy to miss if you don't look closely.
Level 5
The final upgrade for Scrappy requires Apricots, Mushrooms, and Very Comfortable Pillows.
We already know where to find Apricots, as they are also needed for Scrappy second upgrade. For Mushrooms, the best location is near the Dome Complex, where dense vegetation often shelters these resources.
I managed to find Pillows at the Rubis Residence, but they also seem to be available in all residential and commercial areas on each map.
